On Thursday the 2^nd February we celebrate Candlemas Day, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. On Friday the 3^rd February we celebrate the Feast of St. Blaise, with Blessing of the Throats at all Masses. Since the eight century St. Blaise has been venerated as patron of those who suffer from diseases of the throat. The blessing of throats will take place at all Masses on this day.
